Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Every time I open an Office program word, excel, outlook, powerpoint , I get a windows installer popping up "Please wait while windows configures Microsoft Office standard".

The program opens slowly underneath the installer. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I found a registry correction searching the web, but it only works for Word. My computer came with home and student plus trial version office pro I removed the trial and installed outlook stand alone.

In reply to Ruchi Bisht's post on December 1, Both are still relatively new programs, and still have some bugs in them. But that is probably the trouble here.

I advised John to go through Microsoft Word and Outlook both to check active addins. Disable them one by one, and see if any of them fixes the problem. Put the message into Google for plenty more users with the problem. Looks like a bugfix from MS is required. Good luck. One good deed is worth more than a year of good intentions. I looked at Chris Pirillo already and i disabled and enabled some of the addons and it doesnt work. I unistalled and reinstalled adobe acrobat and their software, and also office 07 and it doesnt work.
