Adobe lightroom 3 upgrade to 4

We don't share LR3 on this machine. These were under my wife's account on the old machine but I want both of us to use the catalog on the new machine. From reading the forum and elsewhere, I need to also copy the CameraRaw and Lightroom folders to ensure presets, profiles, templates, etc. Given that my wife and I want to share LR6, do they go under her account? My account?

Is there an order to doing this to minimize issues? Or do that first and then move these two folders? Keep Lightroom up to date Search. Get the latest features and bug fixes by simply updating Lightroom to the latest version.

What is the most current version? What versions of Lightroom are supported? How do I check for and install the most current updates? How do I verify which version of Lightroom I have? What if my computer is not connected to the Internet? Please note that this only occurs when the Enter key is not typed to confirm the adjustment and another Develop adjustment is tried.

Also please note that this only occurs on 4 Windows. This also can occur if the camera goes to sleep and then wakes. This occurs only with Canon cameras and on Mac only. Please note that this only occurred on Mac. They should only be displayed in the Develop Loupe.
